![]() Diablo 2’s story is probably the best example of this. While I’m not one to say that a strong story in this kind of game is paramount, I do believe that a notion of cohesion is. Once I worked out that it was devoid of any clever twists or turns I began tallying up the clichés amnesia, mistrustful villagers and stupidly evil James Bond style villains all make an appearance. If you’re after an engaging story, I’d avoid this one as well. It might also be worth noting that the constant use of broken English does little to help the experience. Part of the attraction of these games is seeing your character change visually as you advance through the game, to remove this for the PC version is a crying shame.Īlso, can someone tell me why text has to be in a different resolution to the rest of the title? It looks grainy and stretched, as if the designers thought that their players would struggle to see it. To add to that most of your armour does not even appear on your character model. The textures are muddy and it is difficult to see what is going on exactly. The graphical quality is poor, with the game looking like it was made in about 2003. The menus have been compartmentalised and leave you chasing the simplest of functions. In my first playthrough I slammed Alt+F4 in complete frustration. ![]() The menus are confusing and are not properly optimised and often leave the user confused over performing such simple tasks as quitting the game. ![]() However, it has clearly not been properly ported to the PC platform from its native iOS. ![]() Not to say that it is a terrible game, it works mechanically. ![]()
